Yes. Core features — creating events, inviting friends, RSVPs, messaging, and discovery — are free with no usage limits. Optional premium perks may be added in the future and will always be clearly labeled.

How do I create my first event?

Tap the create button in the sidebar (or the floating button on mobile). Add a title, date, and location, pick a theme, and send invites. You can always edit details later.

How do I invite people?

From an event, tap 'invite friends'. You can pick from your friends, search by username, or share the event link (vibes.cv/e/CODE) anywhere — text, email, group chat, social media.

Can I RSVP without an account?

You can preview the invite without an account, but you'll be prompted to sign up to confirm your RSVP. Sign-up takes about 10 seconds.

How do plus-ones work?

When you create or edit an event, set how many plus-ones each guest can bring (0 to 5). Guests choose their plus-one count when they RSVP.

Can I limit how many guests can attend?

Yes. Set a capacity in the event form. Once it's reached, additional RSVPs go to a waitlist. If a Going guest cancels, the next person on the waitlist is automatically promoted and notified.

How do I make a private event?

Toggle 'private' on the event form. Private events don't appear in /discover and only invited guests can see the details. You can also require host approval for new RSVPs.

How is Vibes different from Evite, Partiful, or Facebook Events?

Vibes is mobile-first, free, includes built-in chat and a public discovery feed, has no ad tracking, and uses modern themed invites instead of skeuomorphic stationery. Compared to Facebook Events, there's no algorithm gating who sees the invite.
